My passion is Data Science in all its faces - from classical statistical inference to AI, from theory to applications anywhere. I do care for the mathematical foundations. They bring certainty into a field which is like no other characterized by uncertainty. Understanding them is the basis for developing new and better tools. 

In my professional life, I lead the Data Science Hub of an international pharmaceutical company.
